Thank you for dropping off your compostable material!
Bring your compostables to any of our Partner Drop-Off Sites. You can transport your food waste however you like, but you must put food waste in compostable BioBags or paper bags in order to reduce odors for this collective drop-off situation. We sell BioBags to you in store or you can buy on your own.
What can go in the bin?
Food scraps of any kind (meat, dairy, and bones are accepted), veggies, fruits, and even napkins and paper towels that haven't been used with chemicals for cleanups can be placed into the bin. BPI Certified compostable products (such as EcoProducts) are also welcome. We also can't accept boxes because they fill up the bin too quickly, and other composters can't use it, and we do not take plastic or trash.
Please note that Fertile Ground, Mayfair/Mosaic Church, Joy Mennonite Church, Commonwealth Urban Farm, and the OKC Zoo locations are FREE, and you do not need to pay $10. The bin codes remain 1432 for the free locations.
Thank you for recycling your organics with Fertile Ground!
